b.again is active across the entire end-of-life value-chain for batteries, components and energy storage systems, , b.again’s operations encompass the complete logistical process, safe warehousing, State-of-Safety diagnosis, advanced energy management processes, mechanical and chemical recycling, and the final reintroduction of of critical recycled raw materials back into battery production valuechain.
In order to strengthen and ensure our positive contribution towards a sustainable energy transition, b.again actively develops and implements energy storage solutions. building on extensive know-how batteries energy storage systems, b.again focuses on deliverling integrated and high-value 1st and 2nd life battery and energy storage solutions for a wide array of applications.
Designing and defining high-performance energy storage systems, based on highly specific usage profiles, ensuring compliance and environmental responsibility, makes us a unique company in the sector in Portugal.
We seek to implement efficient and sustainable energy storage systems, tailored to needs, and to this end we develop and implement these systems on a close basis with the client, defining their characteristics based on their functional purpose, installation specifications and strategic objectives.
Our energy storage solutions, particularly those that integrate 2nd Life batteries, promote the reuse and recovery of end-of-life batteries, ensuring the correct dimensioning, safety standards and performance.
We promote the development of environmentally sustainable and proficient solutions, maintaining excellent quality and safety standards required in the implementation of energy storage systems.
b.again’s mechanical and chemical industrial recycling process enables the complete recovery of raw materials and critical components from end-of-life batteries. Subsequently, high-purity elements are recovered from the raw materials resulting from the recycling process, allowing their reintegration into the production cycle of new batteries.
With the implementation of technologically advanced processes and ensuring high sustainability standards, b.again recovers over 95% of the total mass of recycled batteries. Consequently, b.again is submitting a significant contribute towards the sustainability of critical raw material supply chains for battery production..
Based on the industrial exploitation of these innovative processes, b.again's commitment is to position Portugal as a reference in the battery value-chain, enhancing a positive commitment towards energy transition and mobility sustainability.

Through that commitment, with innovation and knowledge, b.again is leading a Business Project of the Portuguese Innovation Pact, the New Generation Storage agenda.
